Chelsea are reportedly thinking about whether or not to offload midfielder N’Golo Kante as they aim to raise funds ahead of a busy summer transfer window.

The Blues already have the arrival of Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech to look forward to, and RB Leipzig star Timo Werner is supposedly close to sealing a move to the Blues.

Frank Lampard is also understood to be in the market for a new left-back, with Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell touted as a potential signing, but the club would likely drive a hard bargain for the 23-year-old star.

As a result, AS report that the Blues may be open to parting ways with N’Golo to ensure that they are financially capable of spending big this summer.

The Spanish publication claim that Real Madrid would be the most likely destination for the player, but Los Blancos would be hesitant to fork out the Blues’ current valuation of £71.8m.

The 29-year-old – who is under contract with Chelsea until 2023, has turned out 18 times in the PL during an injury-hit 2019-20 campaign.
