31 goals in 46 games — Todd Boehly has already held talks with his ‘top priority target’ for 2023 summer transfer
Even though this summer’s transfer season hasn’t closed yet, Chelsea’s new owners are already negotiating contracts for next summer.
Truthfully, this summer still needs to come first and will continue to do so, but as the phrase goes, you might as well get two birds with one stone. And Boehly recently sold Timo Werner back to RB Leipzig in order to accomplish that.
“Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig though, I am told IS a real priority target for next summer and he is the one that Chelsea want to bring in,” Simon Johnson, a credible source, said on the Si & Dan Talk Chelsea podcast.
“Todd Boehly has already held meetings for Nkunku to sign for next summer.”
Nkunku is considered one of the most exciting young forwards of the generation. He’s a bit of a late bloomer, having announced himself last season when he scored 31 goals in 46 appearances for Leipzig.
