5 Chelsea players who could miss Leicester City game – Tuchel confirms
Two games to go to end the season as the Blues will be looking forward to finish the season with a win.
Chelsea will face Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night as Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel gives his team news ahead of the match.
Speaking ahead of the Premier League tie against the Foxes, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that five Chelsea players may miss that game.
Tuchel ruled out Andreas Christensen as he said: “With Andreas, I’m not sure yet if he’s going to be involved tomorrow or even at the weekend.”
Tuchel then said there’s a question mark on Kai Havertz who had missed the last two games for Chelsea.
He said: “Kai will try in training today. He was in individual training yesterday rather than with the team so there’s still a big question mark over him for tomorrow.”
Tuchel also confirmed that Timo Werner and Mateo Kovacic will as well miss the game.
Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference: “Timo is out with a hamstring problem. Kova had a big swollen ankle after the match and he did not train yesterday so it is unlikely he will be available tomorrow.”
Tuchel also confirmed Ben Chilwell is back in training but is definitely not contention for the game, as well also Callum Hudson-Odoi.
