5 Man City first team players to miss Chelsea clash on Sunday
According to reports, Manchester City could be without a slew of first team players for the match against Chelsea this weekend.
The Citizens already had their midweek clash with Everton called off after a wave of coronavirus cases in their camp, and it looks like they could be without several starters if our game against them goes ahead.
As always, the identities of the positive tests have been kept a secret, but there are rumours and reports going round that there are some big names involved.
Pep Guardiola confirmed the numbers in his press conference just now, but didn’t name names.
However, Some Twitter accounts are claiming that Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo, Ederson, Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres will all be out – that would mean 5 key men not playing.
Of course any of them could return a negative test before the match and be able to play anyway – so it’s all just wild speculation at this point.
Despite how close we are to kickoff now, we still have major doubts about whether the game will take place.
