£54M star tells Boehly and Tuchel that he wants to be at Chelsea this summer
According to reports, Christian Pulisic has informed Chelsea he does not intend to move during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea decided to invest £58 million to get him to the Premier League in the hope that he would become the team’s next major star. He was once regarded as one of the best talents in the Bundesliga.
However, he has not reached the heights that many had anticipated, has found it difficult to have the impact that the board had hoped for, and rarely made an appearance in the Premier League under Tuchel last season.
That has led to all sorts of rumors in the media over the past few weeks that Chelsea have made the choice to sell him this transfer window and utilize the monies to assist acquire their transfer targets
However, it appears that the American has no plans to leave Chelsea this summer and has informed manager Tuchel and new owner Ted Boehly of his wish to remain at the club, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
With two years remaining on his Chelsea contract, Pulisic is eager to compete for a starting spot.
The amount of playing time Pulisic has earned this season may not have pleased him, but in order to play for a good side, he must be able to tolerate sitting on the bench, which is what happens at Liverpool and Manchester City.
