Chelsea target James Maddison is keen for the Premier League to resume and has told Leicester his priority is to win silverware.

Now Look, Frank Lampard has one of the most exciting and dynamic sides in the Premier League and with the right signings in the summer, could become real contenders for that Premier League title next season, especially if they manage to land a few top-class players.

But there has been a lot of speculation in the media that Willian may be leaving the club, despite the fact that he has admitted on numerous occasions that he is keen to stay in London, Meaning that Lampard will need to find an adequate replacement for the Brazilian star, especially after his wife recently dropped a hint he could leave the club

Maddison has been making all the right noises in the Premier League over the past few seasons and his performances have led to a lot of transfer speculation that the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham were interested in a summer transfer deal.

His creativity, quality and ability to play that killer pass on a weekly basis is the main reason why Jamie Vardy is once again banging in the goals for Leicester, and without him in the heart of midfield, Brendan Rodgers men would not be challenging for a Champions League place. However, away from the transfer speculation, he has opened up and admitted that he is looking forward to the premier League getting back under way, and is keen to fill that cabinet he has in his house.

He told Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on a Puma Football Instagram Live chat: “It has only really come in the last year or two, but my biggest goal now is to win trophies.
“In my house I have a trophy cabinet and there are… individual awards but no trophies.

“We have Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter finals and hopefully we get to play that. “My mouth gets wet when I walk around the Leicester training ground and the stadium and see the pictures of them winning the league and here the players talk about it.”

Leicester are a great side that could challenge for trophies, but there is some doubt that they have the side to really compete and it may be that Maddison seeks a move a way in order to win a few trophies.
