According to Chelsea247, Kalidou Koulibaly should be the man that Chelsea seek too sign up next this coming window.

Frank Lampard has already been busy before the transfer window has even opened up with the world class signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, so that means his attack will be sorted for next season.

However, he will need to stay busy in the transfer window and work on a few areas of the pitch that need a bit of leadership world class ability and something that gives the Chelsea that extra edge, and that signing should be Koulibaly.

Koulibaly has been outstanding for Napoli over the past few seasons and his performances has attracted all sorts of interest from the games biggest clubs, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and even Barcelona all joining Chelsea in the chase for the defenders signature.

Strong, classy and composed, the 28-year-old is rightly considered world-class and would be a major statement of intent from Lampard in his quest to get the club back challenging for more than a top four spot.

It is believed that Napoli will accept a fee of around the £80 million mark, which is a massive drop from the £110 million that they reportedly wanted last summer, and during the January window.

Werner and Ziyech will improve that attack over at Chelsea, but a signing like Koulibaly would also make them more defensively sound, and to win the Premier League title, they need to be great in all areas of the pitch. Koulibaly should be the man that Chelsea sign next.
