“9:15am Chelsea transfer news”: Blues told £180m target will leave club, Abramovic contact to sign Italian, £120m duo to be next Hazard? in Chelsea247 roundup news…

Chelsea told £180m target Erling Haaland is set to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

According to Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola is reportedly set to spark a transfer scramble for the striker’s services amid reports in Spain that he will leave Borussia Dortmund this summer. This sounds a good news for Frank Lampard and Chelsea baord.

However, they also state Frank Lampard’s side are ready to fork out as much as £89m (€100m) to sign Haaland this summer.

The article claims doubts over Timo Werner have prompted the Blues to turn towards the Norwegian. One pundit has even suggested Lampard considers a change of role for Werner amid his recent struggles.

The club have recently been told that they would win the Premier League if the were able to get a deal done for Haaland.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has reported contacted Max Allegri about a possible move to Stamford Bridge

Despite some good performances from the side, Frank Lampard has seen his job come under intense pressure over the past few months, as he simply cannot get the results that Abramovic would like, and Allegri is a manager that he is reportedly keen on.

Allegri left Juventus just a few seasons ago after leading the club to his fifth straight Seria A title, and has reportedly set his sights on making the move to the Premier League, with some reports even claiming that he is already learning English.

However, according to the SUN, Abramovic has started planning for life after Lampard and has already made contact with Allegri about a move to the Bridge, although the report also suggest that he will give Lampard some time before ousting the club legend.

The news comes just a few hours after Arsenal legend Paul Merson urged the club to give Frank Lampard ‘a chance’ to prove himself.

Writing for Sky Sports, he said: “Lampard did a great job last year, and it’s the first time he has worked with world-class players.

“Give him a chance.” he said.

Frank Lampard has tipped Timo Werner and Kai Havertz to shine at Stamford Bridge like Eden Hazard before them, despite their early struggles.

Both Havertz and Werner were the two big summer signings of last summer after the club managed to beat off a whole bunch of clubs to get a transfer deal done for the pair.

They shone in the Bundesliga and scored goals for fun, but since their move to the premier League, they have not had the same kind of impact on the squad, which has led to alot of people believing that they will not be good enough to compete in the English game.

But after the pair shone against Morecombe at the weekend, Lampard has opened up and tipped the German pair to go on and become a legend Like Hazard was.

He told talkSPORT: “The people that question them should look at other top players that have come at a young age to this country.

“Eden Hazard is a great example… he came here and became one of our greater players ever. “It’s not an easy transition to this league. It’s a hard league.

“I think people that question them should give them time because they are great lads and we signed them for now and the future. “I understand the questions as it’s the world we live in. They will prove to be big players for the club.”

There is no doubt that these two players have the quality and ability to go on and become two world class players for the club , they just need patients and time.
