Top transfer target Kai Havertz has dropped a hint he could be set to join Chelsea after liking a tweet directing the club to announce the signing of the Bayer Leverkusen star.
After Chelsea confirmed Werner’s signing on Twitter, a Chelsea fan urged the club to announce the signing of Havertz and the Bayer Leverkusen star responded by liking the tweet.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing the 21 year old midfielder but reports claim he might have to choose between Havertz and Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell as signing both players will be expensive.
Havertz has been in fine form following the Bundesliga’s return, now scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 28 league games this season.
