According to Italian website Calciomercato, Chelsea transfer target Federico Chiesa likes the Premier League and has started taking English lessons in preparation.
With Brazilian winger Willian set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season following breakdown in contract talks with the Blues, Fiorentina winger Chiesa has been identified as a potential signing to replace the Brazilian.
Fiorentina are also reportedly willing to let the winger leave if a suitable offer is submitted by the Blues.
Premier League Rivals Manchester United have also been linked with the Italy international, who has scored 29 goals and provided 20 assists for the Serie A side.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has admitted that the young winger will be allowed to leave but only for the right price. “We had a meeting before Christmas if I’m not mistaken,” he told Radio Bruno Toscana.
“If he wants to go then I’m sorry, but we’d accommodate him, providing the offer is fair. We must also see what he’s worth. “[His price] may have dropped since last year. It must suit everyone, although there’s a chance that he’ll stay.
“I haven’t offered Federico anything. There hasn’t been a proposal, it’s fake news. The important thing is that a player wants to stay.”
