According to La Gazette du Fennec, Chelsea is eyeing a summer move for Brentford winger Said Benrahma, dubbed the Algerian Lionel Messi and have reportedly contacted Brentford about a transfer.
With Pedro and Willian set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is desperate for reinforcements as Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic face being Lampard’s only two first-team wing options next season.
Chelsea will reportedly have to pay £31 million for the 24 year old Algerian winger.
Benrahma has featured in 34 of Brentford’s 37 Championship games this season and has scored 10 times, including a hat-trick against Hull.
Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the winger.
