Chelsea close to completing the transfer of one of the best striker in the World, Timo Werner, the Blues are already preparing for the next signing.
However, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on building a squad capable of challenging Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table and he has the backing of the board.
According to Goal, Lampard’s No.1 target after the completion of Werner’s deal is Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
Chelsea are actively working towards securing the signing of Leicester City left-back and the Blues are reportedly pursuing the signing of Chilwell with the same energy the club used in the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Werner from RB Leipzig.
