Ajax star Hakim Ziyech will join Chelsea this summer after the Blues signed the Moroccan in February and according to reports, his Ajax buddy is keen on joining him at Chelsea.
According to Daily Star, Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is keen on reuniting with his Ajax buddy Hakim Ziyech at Stamford Bridge.
The Cameroon international wants to leave the Amsterdam outfit this summer for a bigger club in Europe and it is believed Chelsea is his preferred destination due to his friend Ziyech.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard had made a new goalkeeper a priority prior to the coronavirus crisis after losing faith in Kepa Arrizabalaga but it is believed he will stick with the Spaniard for at least another season.
The Chelsea board are only willing to sell Arrizabalaga if the club can recoup most of his transfer fee of £71 million and that won’t be possible this summer with the coronavirus pandemic affecting the finances of clubs around Europe.
Onana was one of several targets Lampard considered as a replacement for Kepa, alongside Burnley’s Nick Pope and Manchester United ace Dean Henderson. Ajax reportedly want a transfer fee of £27 million for Onana.
