Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award following Chelsea’s flawless results in the month of June, since the Premier League’s return to action.
In the month of June, Chelsea got good results with victories over Aston Villa and Manchester City.
This month’s award will also look at the March fixtures which took place before the suspension of the league, and Chelsea got a 4-0 win against Everton before the games were suspended.
This will be Lampard’s third Manager of the Month nomination in just his first season in charge of Chelsea. The Blues boss won the award in October, in a month which Chelsea were in top form and did not drop a single point.
The other managers nominated for the award are Newcastle’s Steve Bruce, Wolves Nuno Espirito Santo and Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Lampard is the only manager to have secured maximum points from those available.
The Barclays Manager of the Month award will be announced next Friday 10 July. Voting closes at 6pm on Monday 6 July. Do you think Lampard deserve it? Click here to vote
