Chelsea have already been completed to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and more signings are coming in.

However, there’s one man Chelsea are also chasing and seems the deal will be sealed next week, the man remains the German star Kai Havertz.

However, Speculation has been building over the future of the 20-year-old who is said to be attracting the interest of clubs such as Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

But with Chelsea regarded as the top favourites to sign him, they’ve been handed a big boost following the end of the German season.

According to Bild, Havertz is keen to discuss his future with current club Bayer Leverkusen, also claimed talks is underway and the Blues are expected to seal the deal as soon as possible.

The German side failed to qualify for the Champions League after finishing fifth in the Bundesliga, meaning that their only hope of playing in Europe’s elite competition would come from winning the Europa League.

Some have suggested that Havertz could be tempted to stay for another season, however the 20-year-old will surely be keen to challenge himself at the highest level.

It’s claimed that a move could cost in the region of £75million – a significant outlay for any club given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
