Chelsea have already wrapped up deals for Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Germany international Timo Werner ahead of next season, highlighting just how big the club’s plans are to make a push for the Premier League title once again.
However, after Chelsea splashed out more than £80million on concluding deals for Ziyech and Werner, Chelsea are now set to complete third summer signing in coming days.
According to The Athletic, the Blues are edging closer towards completing a deal for the 21-year-old Kai Havertz, with the final transfer fee claimed to be €80million.
However, Chelsea will not be putting all of their eggs in one basket at the same time, with the transfer-fee rising to €80million with add-ons.
It is claimed that Chelsea will offer Leverkusen €65million up front and then pay the remaining €15m at a later date, or pay Leverkusen €70million now with a further €10million to pay.
And already, it seems, the Blues fans are elated with what could be around the corner, with plenty of praise being sent in Marina Granovskaia’s direction, as she looks to pull off yet another piece of smart transfer business.
