According to reports, Bundesliga ace accepts five-year contract with Chelsea
Kai Havertz has apparently agreed personal terms with Chelsea ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge during this current summer’s transfer window.
Kai Havertz has purportedly disclosed to Bayer Leverkusen that he needs to join Frank Lampard’s side ahead of the 2020-21 season, notwithstanding enthusiasm from the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
As per report in Italy, there is a ‘total agreement’ between Kai Havertz’s agents and Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia with regards to personal terms which has been agreed.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira claims that the Germany playmaker has agreed a five-year contract worth £7.2m a year including add-ons, in spite of the fact that Chelsea are yet to agree a transfer fee with Bayer Leverkusen.
#Haverts just wants to leave Bayer and join #Chelsea.
Personal terms have already been agreed: €9M/season till 2025.
In a few days there will be the official bid from #CFC to find the agreement around €80M. Chelsea are the only club in the race for his signature. @SkySport pic.twitter.com/lRSeZCVe16— Angelo Mangiante (@angelomangiante) July 23, 2020
