(Photos): See What Chelsea players did to Kepa after conceding five goals

It might not just be Chelsea fans who are tired of Blues first choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, the players might be as well, and they showed it after another poor defensive showing at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Chelsea have conceded a whopping 54 league goals in just 37 games – the worst record in the top ten, and the Blues have conceded a league high 16 goals from set pieces this season.

Besides his usual errors, Kepa failed to command his area for setpieces and obviously the world’s most expensive goalkeeper has been unable to command confidence from his defenders as well.

Gini Wijnaldum benefitted from Chelsea’s poor defending last night as he scored Liverpool’s third goal of the very heated end to end contest – and Kepa’s less than domineering presence has played a huge part in our dismal defensive record.

Kepa’s failure to command his area was highlighted time and again at Anfield, and during the closing stages of the game, he was left glued to his line as Andy Robertson teased a late free-kick into the penalty area.

The Chelsea keeper made no move and was stuck to his post as the ball made its way to the far post where Virgil van Dijk was standing. To Kepa’s grace, the Dutch defender missed the opportunity to extend Liverpool’s lead, and the Blues’ defenders were less than impressed with Kepa’s efforts.

Several Chelsea players could be heard screaming Kepa’s name in utter disgust, while five players were pictured with their arms outstretched questioning his lack of assertiveness.
