Chelsea’s spending won’t end if they’re successful in landing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
According to The Daily Mail, the Blues want Havertz AND two more.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is preparing to spend big this summer regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League.
Lampard is confident of luring 21-year-old Havertz to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £70m, with moves for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Ajax fullback Nicolas Tagliafico also in the pipeline.
However, Bayer Leverkusen are demanding £90m for their star man and the Blues may be forced to dig deep into their pockets to sign the Germany star.
