The Blues could purportedly offer AC Milan the opportunity to sign Jorginho as Chelsea hope to beat various clubs to the signature of Ismael Bennacer.
The youngster, who has scored once and given one assists in 33 appearances for AC Milan this season, has been connected with various clubs in ahead of this current summer’s transfer window.
Manchester United and Manchester City are both thought to be excited about the midfielder, but as per report, Chelsea are also in the chase for his signature.
The report asserts that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard accepts that Ismael Bennacer has the ‘perfect profile’ for his side.
It is claimed that the Chelsea are ready to offer Jorginho as a makeweight, with the Italy playmaker thought to be on out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 22-year-old, who has a contract at San Siro until the end of the 2023-24 season, is accepted to be valued by the Red and Blacks around £45m.
