Chelsea and Manchester United secured the final Champions League spots on the final day of the Premier League season, with Leicester having to settle for Europa League football next term.
However, According to The Sun via Metro, Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell wants to join Chelsea this summer after Leicester City missed out on Champions League qualification.
Chilwell is Frank Lampard’s no.1 left-back transfer target and it is believed Chelsea may have to spend as much as £75million to lure Chilwell to Stamford Bridge, with Brendan Rodgers determined to keep hold of the defender.
Chelsea are expected to submit a bid for Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico if a deal for Chilwell is seen as too costly by the club.
