According to Daily Mail, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was keen on joining Chelsea during the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of next season, was said to be keen on a move to Chelsea but his high wage demands put an end to the move.
Aubameyang’s wage demands would have made him the highest-paid player in Chelsea’s history but the Blues weren’t interested in offering that much to the striker.
Aubamayeng signed for Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund for £56m in 2018. Since his arrival, only Mohamed Salah has scored more Premier League goals than his 49. This season, he has scored 27 goals.
