Lots of Chelsea fans have made a bizarre transfer request, by telling the club to sign up Copenhagen goalkeeper, Karl-Johan Johnsson.

The relatively unknown goalkeeper became a hero despite being on the losing side in the Europa League game against Manchester United.

Johnsson kept Copenhagen in the game until late in extra time and United had to score from penalty kick to win the game.

Asked whether the Sweden international should be rewarded with a ‘big move’ this summer, Manchester United legend Robin van Persie said: “I hope so for him, he really earned it.

“He made some proper saves. Not just balls going towards him, he put his body on the line and made great saves. “The save from Martial was an unbelievable save with one hand.”

Johnsson is currently 30, and the goalkeeper could maybe a back up choice if the Blues eventually decide to look his way. You never can tell, Chelsea have made some very cheap transfer decisions and the players turned out to be legends for the club, Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta are worthy mentions.
