Agent Kia Joorabchian claims he has not spoken to Philippe Coutinho about his future, but has admitted the Chelsea target is keen on the Premier League.
Coutinho is a player that is one of the best number tens in the game and should have been a superstar for Barcelona, but he has failed to live upto all the expectations and has been in the media on a daily basis about where he will be.
Chelsea have been linked with a loan move for the Brazilian over the past few weeks, as Frank Lampard knows that he needs to add a bit more quality to this side, and Coutinho is a player that he loves.
Joorabchian told talkSPORT: “At the moment with Coutinho, he’s so focused on getting through to the next stage of the Champions League.
“He’s got a massive game – the club that owns him against the club he’s playing for. So he’s in a massive situation at the moment.
“He’s going to play Barcelona, he’s looking forward to it, he’s looking forward to winning the Champions League. I think they have a side that has the potential to be there.
“After the Champions League finishes, whatever happens, then we’ll sit down. I haven’t even spoken to him about it actually. “It could be that Barcelona is the ultimate destination.
“He loves the Premier League, he wants to come to the Premier League, but finances and the numbers and the situation of COVID are all going to play a big part because he’s a big player with big numbers.”
