Deal On: Chelsea to hold talks to sign veteran Brazilian international after Kai Havertz deal

Honestly, Chelsea have lacked real leaders in the squad since the likes of Frank Lampard and John Terry left the club.

Now Lampard is back as head coach, he is once again searching for leadership on the pitch, but again, it is severely lacking. So how can you combat such a problem?

Well, you can do this, as well as sort out Chelsea’s main other issue this season – their leaky defence.

And according to The Telegraph, this is exactly what they are doing.

They report that Chelsea will hold talks with veteran Brazilian international Thiago Silva over signing on a 2-year deal with them once he becomes a free agent after the weekend.

The 35-year old will play his final game for PSG on Sunday, and he has a real desire to play in the Premier League.

His agent has reportedly offered him to Chelsea, and the club are considering it. He would bring a wealth of experience and real leadership to Chelsea’s squad, that’s for sure.
