According to Daily Express, Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is confident of getting two more deals over the line.
The report claims Granovskaia confident of signing 21-year-old Kai Havertz and the deal could be completed within a week. Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen are edging closer to an agreement after initially being £20million apart in their valuations.
Granovskaia is also reportedly confident of signing Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell. The Foxes are expected to hold out for a fee in the region of £80m, similar to what Manchester United paid for Harry Maguire.
Meanwhile, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has warned Chelsea that Chilwell won’t be sold on the cheap.
“He’s a Leicester City player and not a player we want to lose,” Rodgers said.
“There’s no intention to sell Ben Chilwell and there’s absolutely no need to sell. “So the message is he’s not for sale – it’s as simple as that.”
