Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is reportedly worried he might lose Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak to Chelsea this summer.
According to ESPN via Metro, Simeone is worried Oblak will depart from the Wanda Metropolitano if Chelsea can meet his respective release clause.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is on the lookout for a new goalkeeper to replace the faltering Kepa Arrizabalaga following a string of high-profile errors last season and sees Oblak as the ideal replacement for Kepa.
Oblak has a release clause of €120 million (£108m) in his contract and Atletico Madrid are reportedly demanding Oblak’s clause be paid out in full.
