According to Sky Sports, Premier League rivals Arsenal are still keen on securing the Jorginho’s signature before the deadline on Monday.
Jorginho continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal this summer despite appearing to be a firm part of Frank Lampard’s plans.
Jorginho has three goals and an assist in his first three Premier League games this term, scoring a double in the 4-0 demolition of Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Arsenal look set to miss out on their top midfield target Houssem Aouar with the Frenchman reportedly set to stay with Lyon for 2020-21 and have reportedly now turned their attention to signing Jorginho.
