As we all know the Champions League draws was done on Thursday, and Chelsea were drawn in the same group as Sevilla, Krasnodar and Rennes.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Sevilla will be expected to scale through this group, but both sides will want to top the group.
Chelsea’s opening Champions League game is against Sevilla away from home on October 20.

Interestingly, Chelsea haven’t played any of these teams in a competitive game, and new Blues goalkeeper Edouard Mendy will have the opportunity to play against his former side Rennes, so soon.
