Before the transfer window ends Chelsea tried to do some outgoing transfers as the Blues loan and sell some players after huge summer signings.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have confirmed midfielder Marco van Ginkel will return to PSV Eindhoven on loan for the 2020/21 season.
This will be Van Ginkel’s third loan spell at PSV having previously won two Eredivisie titles at PSV, in 2016 and 2018, the second one of those as captain.
Van Ginkel’s last match was for PSV in 2018 and the Dutch midfielder has struggled with injury since then, having needed a long rehabilitation period following surgery to resolve a knee injury.
Van Ginkel joined Chelsea from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013 and has made just four appearances for the Blues.
