Ziyech finally reveals Chelsea’s mistake in goalless draw against Tottenham
Chelsea played out a bore draw against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening, as both sides had to settle for a point after a goalless affair.
There were very few chances in the game, and both sides had to settle for a point.
A win would have taken Chelsea top of the table, but a draw was probably the deserved result.
Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech didn’t have too many chances in the game, and he couldn’t create much as well.
Ziyech has now blamed the draw on his side’s lack of creativity.
“It felt like whoever was going to make the mistake would lose the game,” the 27-year-old said.
“It was not really a game to play football. It was a tactical game. ‘For their attackers and ours there was no space to play.
“We had much more of the ball than they had, but it was difficult to find space and create chances.
“Our feelings were mixed. A little disappointed because we were at home and we want to win the game but on the other side you have to look to yourself and say you didn’t create enough.”
