Agent confirms midfielder to be a Chelsea player next season, Madrid handed injury boost ahead of crucial Chelsea clash, as Blues makes shock move for South American No.9 hotshot

The agent of Jorginho has announced that the midfielder will be at Chelsea next season.

Jorginho is now in his third season at Chelsea having followed Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2018, and although he has had his ups and downs, he has become a big part of this Chelsea side.

However, there has been constant speculation in the media that he would be very open to leaving Chelsea in the coming transfer window and make a move back to Italian football, where the likes of Juventus and Napoli are reportedly interested in a transfer deal, but that will not happen according to Santos.

WHAT HAS SANTOS SAID?

When asked about Jorginho’s future, Santos has claimed Jorginho will stay at Chelsea, he told Radio Kiss Kiss ‘He still has a two-year contract with the English club and is only focused on finishing the season in the best possible way.’

Despite Jorginho’s happiness in the capital, Santos says he does eventually plan on returning to Italy to play in Serie A again. ‘His dream is to win it [European Championships] with Roberto Mancini’s Italy,’

‘When he ends his adventure at Chelsea, he would love to return to Serie A.’

Roundup…..

Look, there are many Chelsea fans out there right now that firmly believe that Jorginho is a player that they can sell in the summer, he does a good job, but does not add that creative spark to the midfield that would add a few more goals to the attack.

However, as we said, he does a solid job and under Thomas Tuchel, he is a big player, so the news that he intends to stay during the summer transfer window will be massive for the German boss, who will want to keep hold of the players that he currently has.

Madrid handed injury boost ahead of crucial Chelsea clash

Real Madrid have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final 2nd leg against Chelsea, with club captain Sergio Ramos having been declared available for selection after a long injury layoff.

Marca reports that Sergio Ramos has returned to training alongside his teammates ahead of Real Madrid’s game against Osasuna at the weekend.

The report also suggests that Ramos could make a cameo appearance off the bench against Osasuna to get some match practice, ahead of the crucial clash against Chelsea. But it remains to be seen if Zinedine Zidane would risk the Spaniard at the weekend, given that Ramos hasn’t played much football this year.

The Spaniard picked up a calf injury at the beginning of April while on international duty, in what has been a year marred by injuries for the defender. Ramos has only made three appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s side in 2021.

However, it now seems like he is ready to make his long awaited return to the pitch just in time for the Chelsea game.

Blues makes shock move for South American No.9 hotshot

PSG could look to cash-in on centre-forward Mauro Icardi, with Thomas Tuchel set to welcome him with open arms at the London club.

That’s according to the report, following Argentina international’s underwhelming campaign at the Parc des Princes, a transfer away could be on the horizon when the summer comes around.

Blues are in need of a new striker, with Timo Werner seemingly unable to do the job, while the German manager was the man who brought Mauro to PSG during his time in charge. Put two and two together and it’s easy to see why report have made this link.

The Spanish outlet believe that the Blues would be prepared to pay €55m to sign the 28-year-old striker this summer, which is a lot of money for a centre-forward who has seven goals in 19 games this season.

Though Roman Abramovich needs to give Thomas Tuchel his backing in the transfer window if he wants the German to succeed at the club, and if it’s Icardi he wants, it should be Icardi that he gets.

Blues were battered and beaten against West Brom yesterday afternoon, with goals required to get back into the contest, but Olivier Giroud was not called upon. With his contract expiring at the end of the season, a decision has been looming for Giroud, and he’s decided his future lies elsewhere.
