Willian strange reaction after Chelsea won the Champions League
Chelsea fans loved Willian, and Willian also loved the club. But it was unfortunate that he ended up joining Blues rival Arsenal, after deciding against signing a two-year deal as he wanted three years from Chelsea.
The Brazilian had his eye on the Champions League final and he watched as the Blues went on to beat Manchester City in the final and claim the trophy.
After the game, Arsenal winger Willian praised former teammate N’Golo Kante on his Instagram story after he helped Chelsea win the Champions League final.
Kante was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch and his performance was just too good.
Willian simply wrote on his Instagram story: “What a player you are @nglkante”, added with a fire emoji.
Meanwhile, Willian won the Europa League, two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his time at the club. Had he stayed a year more, a Champions League medal would have been added to his collection.
