Not Tuchel wish, as Marina ready to sell £100,000-a week Chelsea star in January
According to Daily Express, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is ready to sell Antonio Rudiger in January against Thomas Tuchel’s wish.
However, The German international has less than a year left on his Chelsea contract and Granovskaia is ready to cash in on the defender and replace him with Jules Kounde if he fails to sign a new Chelsea contract.
The Blues are currently in talks with the representatives of the 28 year old defender but are unwilling to meet his wage demands.
After dropping down the pecking order under Frank Lampard, Rudiger has become a key player under Tuchel as the Blues won the Champions League last season.
He has carried his impressive form into the new season and showed his worth in Chelsea’s win over Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday night, making a crucial goal-saving block and nearly scoring at the other end after running the length of the pitch.
Tuchel is not likely to be happy if Rudiger gets sold in January as the German centre-back is a key player in his 3-4-3 system.
Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all reportedly monitoring Rudiger’s Chelsea situation.
