Ballon d’Or latest! as top 5 favourites to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or finally revealed
Following the Ballon d’Or announcement, five Chelsea players made the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d’Or as Jorginho, Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta and Romelu Lukaku all made the cut.
However, according to respected French football outlet L’Equipe have come up with a list of the five favourites to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or.
Of course, Chelsea‘s Jorginho is in the mix after winning multiple trophies with club and country within the space of six months.
However, L’Equipe claim the top 3 will most likely be made up of Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski.
Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is also among the favourites.
They even made a cover of the paper with the top 5 aforementioned favourites.
