“To be honest, I felt danger” – De Gea finally reveals why Chelsea should have beaten Manchester United

Chelsea were favourites to win the game and were by far the better side, but only managed to get a draw, after falling behind to a Jadon Sancho goal following a mistake by Jorginho.

However, Chelsea could only get a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Chelsea had many chances to win the game but could only score from a Jorginho penalty to draw level. Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger missed a huge chance at the death, and at the end, the points were shared by the two teams.

Meanwhile, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea who had a good game, admitted after the match that Chelsea had the best chances to win the game.

“They had the best chances, to be honest, but I’m proud of the effort of the team today. De Gea said.

“I felt danger almost the whole game. We defended well and they missed some big chances.

It’s not enough to draw but we’re in a tough moment so it’s a good result. We are defending a bit better, we are fighting for every ball. I feel like we are a team, we are all together.”
