“It’s time to show them how good we are” – Timo Werner reveals his preferred Champions league opponent in round 16
Chelsea will be unseeded in the round of 16 draw after finishing runners-up in Group H following our 3-3 draw at Zenit on Wednesday.
However, Chelsea striker, Timo Werner has revealed he would like the team to face German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16.
“Who do I want to play next? Why not go back to Germany [to play Bayern] and show how good we are,” he said.
With Chelsea unable to face Juventus and any English side in the round of 16, the Blues will face Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Ajax or Lille.
