Real Madrid makes final decision on possible Eden Hazard return to Chelsea
The former Chelsea player Eden Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 after seven successful years at Stamford Bridge but he has struggled to make an impact in Spain.
The Belgian’s spell at the Bernabeu has been ruined by persistent fitness issues and injuries that have resulted in him not being able to either get a consistent run in the side or show his best form.
However, Chelsea are reportedly interested in re-signing Eden Hazard, with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich reportedly keen on making the transfer happen.
Meanwhile, according to Spanish outlet Sport via Daily Mail, Real Madrid have lost patience with Hazard and has make decision on the Belgian man that he can only leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season amid interest from Chelsea.
Hazard will be 31 in the summer and will have just two years left on his Real Madrid contract.
Hazard has lost his place in Real Madrid’s starting XI and was given his first start in three months on Sunday against Cadiz in LaLiga.
French side Lille, Premier League side Newcastle United and Italian side Juventus are also interested in signing Hazard.
