The Blues currently sit a place and three points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table after 18 matches.

However, latest reports claims that, four Liverpool players could miss the crucial Premier League game against Chelsea which will take place on January 2 at Stamford Bridge.

Key Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson will miss the game at Stamford Bridge through suspension.

Robertson was due to be available to face the west London club after serving a three-match suspension for the red card he received against Tottenham on Sunday but following the postponement of Liverpool’s game against Leeds, Robertson’s suspension will now end after the game against Chelsea.

Liverpool trio Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita are doubts for the game against Chelsea due to their participation in the African Cup of Nations. Liverpool are holding talks with their respective nations regarding their release date for the AFCON competition.
