‘Not convinced enough! Tuchel tells Marina to stop talks with Chelsea target
Ben Chilwell is out injured for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury and the Blues are looking to signing a replacement this January.
However, according to GOAL via Daily Mail, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel isn’t convinced about signing PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa as a replacement for the injured Ben Chilwell.
Kurzawa had been identified as a possible option, and it was recently revealed that Chelsea have held talks with PSG over signing the 29-year-old.
Kurzawa played under Tuchel when he was in charge of PSG and it was expected the German tactician would be happy to bring the 29-year-old left-back to Stamford Bridge.
However, Tuchel is reportedly unsure whether Kurzawa would be the right fit for his Chelsea team.
Kurzawa has made 153 appearances for PSG during his seven-year spell at the club but has fallen down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes this season, though, featuring just once across all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
With Tuchel now having doubts over signing the 29-year-old PSG left-back, Chelsea would have to end talks with PSG and turn attention elsewhere as the search for a left-back continues.
The Blues have already recalled Kenedy from his loan spell at Flamengo and would be an option at left-back should the Blues fail to sign a left-back this January.
