Chelsea considering not to sign €150m attacker in summer after latest development
According to latest reports, Chelsea reportedly have a major concern about the transfer of Boruusia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
The Norway international has excelled since joining Borussia Dortmund but Chelsea have concerns about Haaland’s ability to replicate his form in a tougher league.
However, according to the Evening Standard, the Blues are worried that the Norway international may struggle to find the same space in England that he enjoys in the Bundesliga.
Jadon Sancho, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have all struggled in the Premier League despite excelling in the Bundesliga and Chelsea are worried Haaland may also struggle to adapt.
Reports have also claimed Haaland prefers a move to Spain over joining a Premier League club.
Meanwhile, Haaland doesn’t see Chelsea as favourites to win the Champions League this season despite the Blues being the defending champions.
Chelsea won our second Champions League trophy ever after beating Manchester City in the final back in May of last year.
When asked who he thinks will lift the Champions League trophy this season, Haaland told Sky Sports: “Manchester City, or Paris, or Madrid. Paris and Madrid will meet now, so one of these three.”
