The Brazilian helped Chelsea win two Premier League titles during his time at the club before falling out with former boss Antonio Conte.
Costa left Chelsea to return to Atletico Madrid, where he scored 83 goals in 216 games for the Spanish giants.
The 33-year-old moved to his native Brazil after his time with Atletico, but is now a free agent after agreeing to terminate his contract last month with Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.
John Terry has revealed his shock that no Premier League side has signed up Costa till now.
John Terry wrote: “I can’t believe Diego Costa hasn’t been signed by a premier league club. This man is a winner and would make any team stronger.”
