Having beaten Al Hilal 1-0 in the semi-final, the Blues beat Brazilian side Palmeiras 2-1 in the final on Saturday.
However, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has praised Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta after he guided the Blues to success in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Azpilicueta has now won every major trophy in club football following Chelsea’s triumph in the Club World Cup on Saturday.
The Chelsea captain has now the Champions League, the Premier League, Europa League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.
Drogba, who watched the Blues beat Palmeiras, was impressed by how successful Azpilicueta has been at the club.
“This guy, in two years, has won more trophies than us in 10!” the former Blues striker told Chelsea TV.
Azpilicueta is in the final year of his Chelsea contract and there’s uncertainty over his Chelsea future despite his importance to the team.
