Roman Abramovich will back Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel heavily in the next transfer window, with the Russian owner convinced that Tuchel can mount a serious challenge to Manchester City. This According to Evening Standard.

Only Romelu Lukaku has been a permanent signing under Tuchel since he replaced Frank Lampard as Chelsea boss in January 2020.

Since becoming Chelsea boss, Tuchel has guided Chelsea to sucess in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Looking at Tuchel’s success at the club since his arrival, Abramovich is keen on backing the manager as he believes Tuchel is the man to end Manchester City’s reign in England.

Declan Rice, Jules Kounde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Raphinha are some of the players Tuchel wants at Chelsea and Abramovich is ready to back the German tactician in the transfer market.
