‘First in their group’ – Michael Owen gives ‘massive’ prediction for Chelsea vs Lille Champions League clash
Chelsea will play host to Lille in a Champions League round of 16 clash on Tuesday night, and Owen is predicting a 2-0 win against the struggling French club.
Michael Owen has given his prediction for this week’s Champions League games.
Owen told BetVictor: “First up this week we’ve got the defending champions, Chelsea. Lille won Ligue 1 last season, which was an amazing achievement, but they’ve struggled this year.”
“They sit in 11th place domestically, and this is a huge step up for them. Lille did well to make it out of their group, but I fancy this will be as far as they go this season.”
