Roman to accept offer? as Saudi’s richest billionaire emerges as favourite to take over Chelsea
Roman Abramovich has been the owner of Chelsea FC since 2003, and the club has made massive improvements over the last 19 years. The consistency and commitment from Roman has seen the Russian much loved by Chelsea fans.
However, The Blues fans have been left in a state of uncertainty, following Roman Abramovich’s statement that he has decided to sell the club.

According to ITV, high profile Saudi businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is now in contention to take over Roman Abramovich’s empire.
According to Forbes, the 66-year-old is worth $18.7 billion.
Prince Alwaleed made his fortunes by founding the Kingdom Holding Company, an investment enterprise that covers equity, hotels and real estate & domestics.
Known for his generosity and philanthropic acts, Alwaleed joined Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Coalition, promising a $50m (Forbes) injection.
Al-Waleed bin Talal enjoys a lavish lifestyle, but he is believed to have given US$3.5 billion to social causes and his Alwaleed Philanthropies empowers women and youth across the Arab world.
With a reputed net worth of more than US$18.7 billion, the founder and CEO of Kingdom Holding Company, is understood to be the richest man in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Waleed was listed by Forbes as the 45th richest man in the world in November 2017.
