BREAKING: Billionaire man offers to lend Chelsea money for the rest of the season
Due to sanctions on Roman Abramovich, Chelsea cannot receive money for match tickets which have not already been sold, future gate receipts from FA Cup games or money from merchandise sold via the club shop.
However, This has makes Chelsea’s finances taken a hit since Roman Abramovich was sanctioned and there are worries whether the club can continue operating all season.
However, it was reported to us that, Billionaire Chelsea fan Nick Candy has offered to lend Chelsea money to help the club through the cash-flow crisis.
Said a spokesperson for Candy: “We welcome the news that the sale of the club will be conducted quickly,”
“This is a reassuring development for fans after a week of great uncertainty. If the club requires money to operate in the short term, Mr Candy would be happy to help ensure it has the necessary financial resources, subject to Government approval.”
