Tuchel finally reacted to Rudiger’s transfer decision after his agent was spotted with Barcelona directors
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is nearing the end of his contract and is unable to sign a new deal until the club is sold.
However, His agent was this week spotted with two Barcelona directors in a restaurant in Barcelona discussing a potential summer transfer for the Chelsea defender.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said in response to Rudiger’s agent meeting with Barcelona directors: “We heard the same rumours.”
“I would try to meet him if I was any other club.
“He’s still our player. We still think there’s a good chance he stays once things are solved.
“At the moment, our hands are tied. Fair enough if it’s true that he listens to other offers, but I am still confident.”
