‘I fear that’… – Ralf Rangnick reveals his fear ahead of Chelsea clash following 4-0 Liverpool defeat
According to reports, Ralf Rangnick is an unhappy man, as he has seen his midfield depleted in recent games.
However, United have had to play without key duo Scott McTominay and Fred, who are their two main men in the central midfield position.
Ralf Rangnick confirmed Paul Pogba suffered a calf injury during Manchester United’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool on Tuesday, adding to his midfield problems.
When asked about Pogba’s condition after the game, Rangnick admitted fears that the Frenchman would miss upcoming games against Arsenal and Chelsea.
Ralf said: “He pulled his calf muscle. As it seems right now, this will not be an injury like the one Fred has, which will be gone in one week.
“I fear that Paul will not be available for [the] Arsenal or Chelsea [games].”
