If Rudiger leaves! £54 million Frenchman is the ‘perfect’ replacement, Chelsea fans has been told
Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger is out of contract at the end of the season, and with the reports that Chelsea cannot do any business until the club have been sold, there has been alot of speculation about where he could go.
However, Chelsea fans have been told that Joules Kounde could be the perfect man to replace the departing Antonio Rudiger
Chelsea do not want to lose one of their best performers, but with reports that he wants £200,000-a-week to stay and the fact that club are looking to the future, it is very unlikely that an agreement will happen
That has led to reports in the media about who could come in and replace the German star, with claims that Kounde is the man that the current Chelsea board would like to sign when Rudiger goes
And amid the speculation, former Chelsea star Willem Gallas has opened up on the French defender, Gallas told Goal: “Kounde maybe. He has had a good season with Sevilla. If Apzi is going to leave, then they could buy Kounde.
“At the same time, they have to buy a striker and maybe another centre-half if Rudiger is leaving. Malang Sarr has played there but he is not strong enough. He is too soft as a defender, and that was a problem that he already had when he was at Nice.
“They need to think about looking at four or five players for the next season. That is a job for the board to choose the right players because, unfortunately, they haven’t chosen the right players.”
